The continuity problem
- If the upload is a copy, then "you" still die — a duplicate simply wakes up believing it's you.
- If the original is destroyed in the scan, is that transfer or murder-plus-replacement?
- Run two copies at once — which one is the real you? (Both insist they are.)

The copy will swear it survived. The question is whether you did — and whether that's even a coherent thing to ask.
